Key Responsibilities: Senior Specialist

The Senior Specialist will contribute to the strategic direction of adaptation actions. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategy Development: Develop frameworks prioritizing Climate Justice and equity, ensuring alignment with the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and UNFCCC commitments.

• Locally Led Adaptation (LLA): Integrate LLA principles across BRAC programs to position the organization as a leading actor in national and international forums.

• Knowledge Management: Monitor global trends, document best practices, and disseminate evidence from BRAC’s adaptation initiatives to enhance program quality.

• Climate Finance: Provide analytical inputs on climate finance instruments (e.g., GCF, Adaptation Fund) regarding replicability and eligibility.

• Proposal Writing: Contribute to the development of funding proposals and prepare periodic reports on Adaptation and Mitigation (AdMit) initiatives.

Required Qualifications
