Special Note: Candidates MUST have a valid Motorcycle Driving License and willingness to drive. This is a field-oriented position requiring frequent travel.
About the Role: The Senior Program Officer acts as the bridge between the strategic plan and field execution. You will work embedded within a high-impact public health initiative to reduce malaria transmission. You will supervise field staff (Health Workers/Shasthya Kormi), ensure proper distribution of ITNs (mosquito nets), and coordinate with government health complexes (UHC).
Key Responsibilities

Program Planning: Prepare monthly action plans according to the Malaria Programme guideline to oversee implementation in assigned areas.

Supervision: Conduct frequent field visits to supervise staff activities. Hold monthly meetings with Health Workers to analyze the field situation.

Health Management: Ensure quality diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of Malaria and TB patients. Refer complicated cases to the Upazila Health Complex.

Distribution: Ensure proper distribution of Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs) and conduct Social Behavior Change (SBC) activities.

Data Management: Collect and compile monthly MIS data and send it to UHC and line management on time.

TB Control: Increase TB case detection in the assigned area and ensure patient follow-up.

Coordination: Maintain good coordination with government health staff and CBOs.
Required Qualifications

Masters degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Note: Any 3rd division/class or CGPA less than 2.5 in the academic career is NOT eligible.

At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

Valid Motorcycle driving license (Mandatory).
