Key Responsibilities: Manager, Proposal Development
The Manager, Proposal Development is responsible for developing high-quality concept notes and proposals to secure funding. Key responsibilities include:
- Fundraising & Monitoring: Explore fundraising opportunities, regularly monitor donor websites, and identify opportunities relevant to the BRAC Health Programme (BHP).
- Proposal Development: Support the end-to-end proposal development process, including concept notes, technical and financial proposals, theories of change, frameworks, workplans, and budgets.
- Coordination: Coordinate with finance, GRP, HRD, and procurement departments during proposal writing to ensure timely submission and strategic positioning.
- Database Management: Create and manage a database for BHP donors, projects, programmatic knowledge pieces, one-pagers, and reports.
- Donor Relations: Assist in negotiating contract/MoU terms, maintain relationships with existing donors, respond to requests, and keep them updated on organizational work.
- Field Insights: Undertake regular field visits to gather ground-level experiences to provide practical inputs into proposals and recommend changes aligning with donor requirements.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety of programme participants and team members from harm, abuse, and exploitation. Act as a key support for establishing a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
